My child wants to come with a friend.
If they are approximately of the same age, we will make sure they are in the same group and the same room. Please write it down on the registration form.
What if my child gets sick?
Our camp is located 3 km away from the village Mont-Tremblant village, where two medical clinics are ready to receive our campers at anytime. In case of emergency, Ste-Agathe hospital is 20 minutes away from Mont-Tremblant. Every counsellor has first-aid training.
If I drive my child to camp, when does he have to be there and when should I pick him up?
Your child has to arrive at camp on Sunday afternoon between 2PM and 3PM after lunch. You have to pick him up on Sunday, between 11Am and noon.
You can send letters by mail (make sure your child’s name is clearly written on the envelope) or leave a few in his luggage. The children have time to write letters, please provide them with pre-addressed envelopes and stamps. Children are not allowed to phone from camp. Exceptionally, the directors may communicate with the parents, should they judge it necessary. You can also send a fax (819 425-7121) or emails at the address firstname.lastname@example.org NB: No attached documents or animated emails please! The children don’t have access to the Internet but will receive your printed emails.
The laundry service costs $12 per bag and is available every Mondays.
You can leave money with your child if he wants to buy a souvenir from the camp or to participate to optional activities. Your child must give his money to his counsellor, who will lock it away until it is needed.
When your child is leaving home for the first time, he may be homesick. Counsellors are used to this and know the best ways to intervene with your child. You can help our counsellors by encouraging your child to communicate with us if he feels sad or homesick. Don’t promise your child he will go back home if he feels homesick. Normally a little effort on his part, and his counsellor’s help, are enough for him to enjoy his week at camp.
Children will not be entrusted by the camp’s director to a parent or any other person who does not have the legal responsibility for the child without a written and signed authorization by the person who does have this responsibility. Transfer of responsibility from the parents
If your child requires any medication during his stay at the camp please write it down clearly on the medical form.
Special meals, vegetarian, allergies
If your child is a vegetarian, please write it down on the medical form. If he has allergies, also write it down and be precise as to what the allergy is, and whether he has an Epipen.
